Improve your mental health, one step at a time. It’s normal to feel stress, anger, and worry. But when emotions start to take over daily life, it’s important to pay attention. Signs of mental or emotional distress may include:

  • Anxious, irritable, or irrational behavior
  • Mood swings
  • Sleeping a lot or not at all
  • Withdrawal from people and activities they enjoy
  • Decrease in appetite or over-eating
  • Trouble with focus or memory
  • Poor hygiene
  • Suspicious thoughts or paranoia
  • Hearing voices
  • Thinking or talking about suicide
