The Human Resources Team has an exciting change coming!
We are proud to announce that we have filled the Senior HR Analyst position we’ve had posted for quite some time. This was a difficult position to fill, but once we looked among our own team, it was clear we had an excellent candidate among us (and we’re very grateful that she agreed). On Thursday, February 16, Rebecca Salinas will join the HRIS team as a Senior HRIS Analyst. The HRIS team supports the Rice community through continuous review, testing, and improvement of the iO HCM platform as well as other HR systems. Rebecca will be joining Wayne Robinson, Yesenia Servellon, and Jeannette Lopez.
Rebecca came to us as a recent Rice grad in 2014 and has been amazing us ever since. Many of you have worked and partnered with Rebecca, looking to her for expertise and guidance with position descriptions, pay, reorganizations, market studies, data requests, workforce compensation in iO, as well as general HR questions. She was instrumental in the iO configuration, testing, implementation, and providing training support, and played a key role in the development and implementation of Careers at Rice in 2018. In 2022, Rebecca was honored by the Rice Board of Trustees for providing a service to Rice of the highest level. We couldn’t think of a better person for this job, and we are so glad she will continue to share her talents with HR and Rice.
